This tutorial applies to win7 Systems

1. Install IIS

(1) If the IIS server is not installed in the operating system, open the control panel and click Start Program and function (figure 1)

(2) Select "enable or disable Windows" in the pop-up dialog box (figure 2)

(3) In the Windows component wizard dialog box, select "Internet Information Service (IIS)" (figure 3 and 4) and select the one you want to select as shown in figure 3 and 4, click "OK" to complete IIS installation (5). During this process, it may take some time.

Ii. Configuration

(1) return to the control panel, find "Management Tools", and click to enter

(2) double-click "Internet Information Service (IIS) manager" to become IIS. If you need to use IIS frequently, it is recommended that you right-click the "Internet Information Service (IIS) manager" and choose "send" to "desktop shortcut" to access IIS from the desktop, instead of clicking control panel every time.

(3)IIS interface:

Select "Default Web Site" and double-click "ASP" in the middle"

Change "enable parent path" to "True"

(4) The following is the configuration site. Click "Advanced Settings" on the right and select the directory of your website.

(5)Return to IIS, click "Bind..." on the right, select the website you want to bind, and click "edit" (or add) to select the port. Click OK.

(6) If you are a computer, you only need to modify the following port number. You can modify the number at will. If it is an office LAN, click the drop-down box and select the lan ip address on your computer, for example, 192. 168. **. **, and then modify the port number.

(7) return to IIS. If it is stopped on the right, select start and Click Browse website below to open the website in the folder you are bound.

If you have multiple websites, right-click "website" on the left of IIS and click "add Website". After adding the website, click the new website name, which is the details of the website.

In this way, the IIS installation and configuration will be OK.
