Linux and Windows system cronolog installation configuration

I found a file on the Web server has been growing and fast, a log file, has reached a G. But also want to leave some of the latest log, do not want to delete, but the log file is too large, simply can not open. In fact, it is best to use log polling, before this Web server did not do this configuration, this should be configured when the Web server should be done. It's not too late to configure it.

If you have Windows to win_32_version (ZIP file) Linux is accustomed to which kind of package to use.

2. Install Cronolog under Linux

Tar zxvf cronolog-1.6.2.tar.gz

CD cronolog-1.6.2

./configure (Note: The default is to install under/usr/local cronolog command under/usr/local/sbin, this should be clear)

make; Make install

3. Install Cronolog under Windows

It's simple under Windows to extract the Cronolog.exe directly into the bin directory in the Apache directory.
