Upload and download files to Linux using Xshell in Windows

Using the CentOS file upload download gadget, you can quickly help us to upload files from the local to the server, or download files from the server to the local.

Method/Step

1. Use Xshell to connect to the server first. Create a new connection, enter the user name and password, enter the host IP address and port number, and select the SSH connection mode.

2. Specify the folder to receive files in the connection properties

3. Connect to the server after configuring the connection properties

4. The file Upload command is RZ, the download command is SZ, but Linux may not have the Upload tool installed, so when you enter RZ and SZ, you will be prompted not to find the command. So you need to use the command to install the tool. At the command line, enter Yum Install-y Lrzsz,

5. After installing the File Upload Tool at the command line to enter RZ will pop up the file selection dialog box, select the file will be automatically uploaded, download can be entered in the command line "SZ file name" can be directly downloaded

Precautions

• Enter Yum remove Lrzsz to uninstall the tool
