1. Break: Applies to the selection structure and loop structure.

2. Continue: Applies to the loop structure.


Note:

It is meaningless for these two statements to leave the scope of the application.

Break is to jump out of the current loop, continue is to end this loop and continue the next loop.

when break and continue exist alone, there can be no statement below because execution is not possible.
