Free access to modify database under Windows

Command prompt net stop MySQL stops MySQL service

C:documents and Settingstony>net stop MySQL

The MySQL service is stopping.

The MySQL service has stopped successfully.

Enter Bin directory

C:documents and SETTINGSTONY>CD c:program filesmysqlmysql Server 5.0bin

C:Program filesmysqlmysql Server 5.0bin>mysqld-nt--console--skip-grant-tables

Open another new cmd.

C:Program Filesmysqlmysql Server 5.0bin>mysql

mysql> use MySQL;

mysql> Update user set Password=password ("123") where user= "root";

mysql> flush Privileges;

Restart the service when it is finished.
