Microsoft released the official version of Internet Explorer 7 on the evening of June 14, October 18, the Associated Press reported. In the past 14 months, Microsoft has strictly tested IE7 and released five test versions. Compared with the current IE6 version, IE7 has significantly improved its functionality. For example, multi-tag browsing and built-in anti-phishing functions are supported. According to the Network Analysis agency WebSideStory, the current market share of IE in the United States has declined to 86%, while that of Firefox has increased to 11%. Two years ago, IE's market share was as high as 93%.
You can download IE7 for free from the evening of June 13, October 17. In March November, Microsoft will use the automatic upgrade function to upgrade Windows XP users. Microsoft previously said that after the release of IE7, it will continue to provide technical support for IE6.
