From the Design book for everyone

Some people need to design pages, but there is no design background at all, or there is no formal training in design. This book is exactly for these people.

I. Design Principles:

1. Contract is responsible for shuffling the fate, but we play cards on our own! Avoid too many similar elements on the page.
2. Repetition repeats the visual elements in the design in the entire work.
3. Alignment nothing can be placed on the page at will.
4. Proximity items related to each other should be close and grouped together.

Ii. Color usage:

1. Complementing each other: completely opposite. One is the dominant color, and the other is used to emphasize;
2. Three-color group: equal distance, that is, 60 degrees of mutual angle, popular color combination, very coordinated;
3. Split complementary three-color group: color + complementary color on both sides of the color, this combination will have a more detailed color boundary;
4. Similar colors: colors adjacent to each other, coordinate the combination, use different colors and dark colors, the effect is quite eye-catching.

Warm colors (including red or yellow) and Cold colors (including blue): Cold colors tend to retreat, warm colors tend to enter. To combine them, you need to use cold colors and less warm colors.

About CMYK and RGB: CMYK should be used for projects to be printed, and RGB should be used for content to be viewed on the screen.

3. font design:

Avoid using multiple similar fonts to avoid conflicts.

1. Oldstyle: Based on handwriting, there is always an angle to cut the line of a letter, and the strokes have a gentle rough/fine transition.
2. Modern: the level of the cut line. The strokes have a rough or fine transition.
3. Slab serif: The Strokes do not have a rough or fine transition.
4. Sans serif: there is no cut, and the strokes do not have a rough/fine transition.
5. Script: handwriting font of calligraphy pen or calligraphy brush.
6. Decorative: Interesting and distorted.
