I split the USB flash drive into three zones: ext2 200 mb, ext3 6700 mb, and swap 1000 mb, and installed the gentoo Basic System in the same layout as on the hard disk, there is no problem during the installation process. After restarting, you can go to the grub menu to start from the USB flash drive. However, after selecting it, the system prompts error17, which means that grub has found the partition to be read when starting, however, the format of the file system cannot be identified.
