Genymotion Application
Management window
The Genymotion main window allows users to manage their own virtual Genymotion devices:
In the main menu bar, you can:
Open the execution window and start the selected Virtual Device
Add a new Virtual Device
Open/close Main Menu
After clicking the "menu" button:
Open setting window
Open the Help Window
Open a window
Exit Application
You can also click the corresponding button or shortcut menu of each virtual device:
Configure virtual machine settings, including resolution, DPI, and Android navigation bar)
Remove Virtual Device
Virtual Device creation window
After you click "add" in the main window, the virtual device creation window is displayed:
In this window, you can select and create a virtual device from the online or local device:
The list on the top contains virtual devices that have been downloaded
The bottom list contains virtual devices that can be downloaded from your account.
Cloud connection window
When you open the virtual device creation window for the first time, the tool will prompt you to enter the logon information:
Manager settings window
Set the ADB path: used to indicate the Android SDK installation location. The program will automatically find the ADB executable file.
Set HTTP Proxy: If you need to use HTTP proxy, the FQDN or IP address is provided here.
Set the login name and password for the HTTP Proxy: If your HTTP proxy requires basic authentication information, the login name/password will be displayed for verification. Warning only basic authentication is supported, excluding NTLM or Kerberos.
Virtual device settings
In this window, you can set the resolution, pixel density, and other information of the virtual device.
Predefined screen size: Set the resolution and pixel density of the device in the predefined list.
Custom screen size: manually enter the resolution and pixel density of the virtual device. Warning the custom pixel density and resolution value that you enter may affect the user experience.
Run the Virtual Device in full screen mode: After this option is selected, the virtual device is displayed on your display in full screen mode, and its resolution is consistent with the current resolution of your display.
Show Android navigation bar: After this option is selected, the virtual device enables the Android navigation bar function, which contains three Android buttons: Back, Home, and recent applications ).

Battery parts
Battery parts allow you to modify the battery power, power status, and power mode of Genymotion Virtual Devices.
First, use the corresponding panel button to open the part.
Activate analog battery mode
By default, Genymotion Virtual Devices simulate the battery power of the device based on the battery power on the computer. This button activates the battery simulation function, allowing you to adjust the battery value at will for application testing.
If your computer does not have a battery, such as a desktop computer, this simulation function is automatically activated.
Change battery power
When the simulated battery is activated, you can adjust the current battery of Genymotion by entering a value in the slider or manually entering a value in the corresponding area.
Modify Battery status
After the simulated battery is activated, you can click the corresponding button to modify the battery status:
Charging: the power supply is connected. The current battery is in the charging status.
Discharge: the power supply is not connected, and the battery is in the discharge state.
GPS Components
The GPS part allows you to activate and modify the location, accuracy, and direction of the Virtual Device in real time.
Activate GPS
When you use the corresponding buttons to activate GPS, you have also opened an account for generating and receiving the GPS framework in the Genymotion virtual device. When the device is in the inactive status, GPS Cannot refresh the current location of the device and continue to use the last known location.
Modify location
In the geographic latitude and longitude input area, you can modify the current location of the virtual device. The specific value must be in a specific range: the latitude ranges from-90.0 ° to 90.0 °, and the longitude ranges from-180 ° to 180 °.
Modify altitude
You can set the current altitude between-10000 and 10000.
Modification Accuracy
You can use the slider or enter a value to modify the positioning accuracy. The value range is from 0 to 200.
Modify Orientation
You can use the corresponding dial or enter a value to modify the orientation. The value range is from 0 ° to 359.99 °.
Please note that although many applications do not rely on GPS for positioning, they will conduct direction measurement through the accelerator or gyroscope in the device. Currently, these two mechanisms are not supported.
