Getting Started with Word animation Tutorial 90: Editing hyperlinks

First, change the hyperlink (to change the link of the existing file for example)

If you want to change the link target or display text, follow these steps:

1. Right-click the hyperlink you want to change, select Edit Hyperlink from the shortcut menu, and open the Edit Hyperlink dialog box.

2. Look for and select a new destination file in the Look in box or enter a new destination address directly, and enter the new text as a hyperlink display in the Text to display box, and click the ScreenTip button to edit the new hint text.

Second, set the hyperlink format

If you want to change the appearance of all the hyperlink text in a document, you can follow these steps:

1. Open the document that contains the hyperlink that you want to change.

2. Perform "format" → "Styles and formatting" to display the Styles and Formatting task pane.

3. If you want to change the appearance of the hyperlink, find the style hyperlink in the Select Formatting to apply box. Right-click, select Modify, and if you want to change the appearance of the hyperlinks that you have visited, you can find the style visited hyperlinks in the Select Formatting to apply box and right-click to select Modify , open the Modify Style dialog box.

4. Select the format you want, or click the Format button, and choose font for more options.

Tip: If you want to use the modified hyperlink or visited hyperlinks style in a new document that is based on the same template, select the Add to template check box in the Modify Style dialog box.

Third, delete the hyperlink

Select the hyperlink, press the DELETE key, you can remove hyperlinks completely, right-click the hyperlink, select Unlink from the shortcut menu, and you can convert the hyperlink to regular text (in the Edit Hyperlink dialog box, click the Delete link button in the lower right side to achieve the same effect).
