Go by Example:hello World

Our first program will print out the classic message "Hello World". Here's the whole source code.

In order to run the program, write the code to the Hello-world.go file. Execute using the Go Run command.

$ Go Run Hello-world.gohello World

Sometimes we want to compile our program into binary programs. We can do this with the go Build command.

$ go Build hello-world.go$ lshello-worldhello-world.go

We can directly execute this compiled binary file.

$./hello-worldhello World
