It seems that the battle for Google's official programming language is imminent ... C, C + +, Java, Python, JavaScript, and now Go and Zimbu(by VIM's author)

The GCC project organization announced that it allowed Gccgo (the new language go) to be added to the GCC main branch, with more detailed information likely to be reflected in GCC4.5 or later versions.

That means that in the near future, the go language will be standard for Linux.
