Terminal input: sudo passwd root
passwd Root is the command to modify root, under Unix
sudo is the command that executes root as the current user to avoid entering the root password
However, Sudo relies on the configuration file/etc/sudoers to work, which means adding itself to the sudoers file.
However, this file is root and the normal user does not have read and modify permissions
So... Or the first Su to root, to become root in order for ordinary users to use sudo
