3.4 Add a locator to a Web page
GoLive 5 also provides the ability to set the locator (spacer) function and to draw horizontal lines. A locator allows you to locate objects in a Web page on special occasions, and horizontal lines are common items on a Web page.
Readers should note that a "locator" is a special object based on Netscape that creates spaces between text and other objects in a Web page to locate objects, a special feature that GoLive provides, and that is not used in your Web page when layout Grid, Tables, floating Boxes, then you can consider using it.
Note: In particular, Netscape is a Web browser that is as famous as Microsoft Internet Explorer, widely used around the world, with a lot of Internet users in particular, but in golive The locator designed in 5 is based on Netscape 3.0 and is not available for Microsoft Internet Explorer.
To apply a locator, you can follow the steps below.
Step One, move the cursor to the bottom of the current layout grid, click the gesture in Figure 3-20, press the ENTER key on the keyboard, and then press the UP ARROW key to display the insertion point cursor, see figure 3-21.
Note: This step will let you see a blank area on the screen with no layout grid. You can also write text in this area, but not multiple paragraphs.
