Tutorial 5.4 Application Framework

Currently, there are more and more Web page sites using framework (framework) architecture. Because this structure combines two or more Web pages together and opens in the same web browser window, it can be combined to form a larger Web page with multiple Web pages. These web pages are located in different parts of the Web browser, separate from each other, can scroll to display their own content, but also have their own URL address. For example, in a common frame structure Web page, most of the Web browser window at the top of the site to display the title, advertising and other dynamic content, this section usually takes up less web browser window area, while the area below is divided into two parts, the left part of the small, to display some relatively fixed content, such as table of contents, Navigation bar, a variety of related links, the right part of the larger, used to display the main content. 1. Intuitive Operation

The advantage of using frame structure is that it can unify the style of each Web page in the website, easy to make and modify, easy to access. 2. Easy to save related documents

A frame-structured Web page will contain HTML document files for two purposes, one for the framework setup document, that is, the main document (master documents) to indicate what content documents the Web browser will use, how to arrange, how to size, and the second is one or several content documents, They will be framed in a Web browser window, with the Web page as a frame of the total Web page in each box. For example, a two-frame frame structure might even have three HTML documents, one of which will be the framework Setup document and the other two content documents that provide the content that visitors can browse. In GoLive 5, these files can be created separately, so they can be saved separately so that the operation is simplified and error-prone.

3. Flexibility to control the size and location of the frame

If the size of the Web page is larger than the frame, then GoLive 5 can also set scrolling. If you want to set a fixed-size frame, or modify the size scale in a Web browser, there is no problem. However, it is necessary to ensure that at least one frame can modify the dimensions to ensure that the Web pages of the frame structure work properly.

A frame-structured web page is bound to consist of multiple frameworks, and GoLive 5 also treats them as a frameset (Frames Ste). So to create a frame-structured web page, you want to design and set up a frameset, specify the number of frames, and where each frame is located on a Web page. Create an HTML document for your frameset and reprehensible text, images, and so on in each document? , click the frame Editor (frame Editor) tab in its document window and enter the frame Editor view to begin designing and making frames, see Figure 14.
