To commemorate the first time that humans landed on the Moon in July 20, 1969, Google provided services for you to view the moon surface. The data was provided by NASA, where they landed on the Moon six times.

To address this technology, Google will never announce its future technological direction in advance. It broke a precedent and promised to commemorate the 100 anniversary of the first landing of mankind on the Moon in, it integrates local search capabilities for lunar data to provide information such as lunar commercial services.
We are looking forward to the release of Google Mars soon.
