Problem

You cannot manually edit AssemblyInfo. cs. when entering the assembly information form, it is still blank.

Try:

In the <ItemGroup> node of the project file (which can be opened by any text editing tool in the csproj file), find the Include item carefully and check whether there are repeated items. For example:

<ItemGroup> <Compile Include = "A \ B. cs"/> <Compile Include = "A \ B. cs"/>...

If yes, remove duplicates.

This problem occurs only in projects obtained using tools such as Reflector.
