It is best to place it in the root directory of the fat/FAT32 partition. 3. decompress the isolinux folder in the first installation disk image and copy it to the directory where the ISO file is stored. B. If a new hard disk is directly used to install fedora5, the steps 1 to 4 above are as follows:

1. place the downloaded fedora5 image file in the fat/FAT32 format under the new hard disk partition and the isolinux folder released from the first image under the partition, it is best to put it directly under the root partition.
2. grub for DOS will be downloaded (the versions may be different. Some files and interfaces are different, but they do not affect the use of main functions. Here grub for DOS 0.2.0 is used) it is also placed in this partition (do not pay attention to the fat or FAT32 format.
3. Do everything possible to start the server into dos. You can use USB as the DOS boot disk or some dos boot CD tools. Then, go to the partition where the image and grub for DOS are stored, run the command CD grubfordos (copy the file in it and put it in the root partition, of course, you don't need to do this), and then execute grub.exe.
4. The following operations are the same as those in the above 5, 6.

C. another method is said to be the same as installing redhat9.0 on the hard disk. However, you need to copy the loadin.exe file from utildos In the first image of redhat9.0 and then create an autoboot file. BAT file ...... this method fails and is not recommended here.
