In Windows 7, the number of shortcut keys is further increased. You can use the following shortcut combinations to make your daily operations more convenient.

First, shortcut keys for window management and operations.

Win + up and down arrow keys:

PairProgramWindow size adjustment is a common operation, especially the switching between the default window and the maximization. Before Windows 7, you can only click the maximize/restore button in the upper right corner or double-click the title bar to maximize the current window, you can also use the keyboard combination of the win + up arrow to achieve this; the win + down arrow can be restored to the original window. In particular, pressing the win + down arrow in the original window can also minimize it.

In addition to the preceding shortcut keys and previous mouse methods, you can also perform operations such as maximization and restoration. You can move your cursor over the title bar of the window and click and drag it to the top edge of the screen, the window is automatically maximized. Similarly, the original window is restored after being dragged out of the top. This method is more suitable for touch screen devices. As a brand new system that supports Touch devices, such operations will appear in more places.

Win + Shift + up and down arrow keys

Large-screen and high-resolution display devices are very much needed by design and art artists. However, for ordinary people in daily use, a large screen is sometimes a drag-and-drop. Many software do not need a large display area, especially on the width. Therefore, you may only want to extend the window height, but do not need to increase the width, such as browsing the Web page. Microsoft has clearly taken this into consideration, so there is a highly maximized operation in Windows 7. You can use the win + Shift + up key combination to maximize the current window height without changing the width; the original position can be restored from win + Shift + down.

How do you operate with the mouse? Follow me: move the mouse over the edge of the window and turn it into a double arrow pattern. Pulling the mouse to the top of the desktop can also maximize the height. It also works when you stop at the bottom edge of the window and pull down to the bottom.

Win + left and right arrow keys

With the popularization of a 19-inch or higher wide-screen display, it is of great practical significance to have two or more windows side by side in one screen, but the size and position of each arrangement must be adjusted manually, inconvenient. The emergence of Windows 7 has improved this problem to some extent. If you only need two windows side by side, you can use the key combination. Win + align the current window to the left with the center line of the screen as the benchmark and maximize (WIN + restore the original position to the right); Win + show to the right (WIN + restore to the left ). With this set of shortcut keys, you can easily display any two windows side by side. This function is useful to friends who often write. You can use this function to display data in half, and use the other half to edit the software.

Win + Shift + left and right direction keys

This is a shortcut key designed for computers connected to multiple display devices. Previously, you had to drag the program to another display. Now you can easily send the current window to the display on the left or right by using these two sets of shortcuts.

Win + Home Key

This key combination is used to keep only the current program window and minimize other windows. You can press it again to restore all windows. There is another cool way to achieve this operation, as mentioned at the end of the third stage of the school, that is, left-click the title bar and press and hold it down, and then press it three times at the top of the center-level corner, then, it will be restored. This operation is also suitable for touch screen devices.

Win + P key

This shortcut key helps you quickly set the display mode when you connect to the external projector. You can switch between the four modes by repeating the buttons.

Win + primary key (1-0)

You don't need to talk about this set of keys. Any new taskbar on Windows 7 will be mentioned. It can start a program in the corresponding sequence (up to 10 programs are supported ), RC adds the selection function. You can select a running program through win + number.

Shift + right-click

Right-click the taskbar icon in Windows 7 and you will see the brand new jumplist. However, some may miss the options such as maximize, minimize, and close, try to press shift and right-click it. The familiar menu is displayed again.

I don't know if you have encountered a resource manager crash in your daily operations. Because explorer is usually run in the form of a single process, it will be annoying if a crash occurs, because it will be affected, including the desktop. Windows 7 provides an improvement method that allows multiple Explorer processes. Qq love (http://www.qqai.net) Remind everyone to open the resource manager, hold down shift, and then right-click on any partition or folder, select "open in New process. Start the task manager and you will find that two Explorer processes are running, so that even if one of them crashes for some reason, the impact on the entire system is very small.

CTRL + Shift + double-click

From Vista, "Run as administrator" in the context menu is often used in daily operations. right-clicking is often not a good choice. Now, press Ctrl + shift and then start the program to "run as administrator.

Win + space (space)

Make all windows transparent and retain only the border. The effect is the same as that of hovering over the show desktop button.

Win + T

Change the first icon of the taskbar to focus. You can continue to cycle through all the icons of the taskbar, whether or not they are running.

Retrieve Quick Launch bar (Quick Start bar)

Friends from XP and Vista are very important to the Quick Start column. As a concentrated set of application startup files and folders, it saves us a lot of time. After entering Windows 7, with the emergence of the Super taskbar, the previous Quick Start bar was removed, which made friends who were used to the Quick Start bar very uncomfortable. Although the new super taskbar also provides the Quick Start function, some people still want to retrieve this Quick Start bar.

OK. No problem. We can use other methods to make the Quick Start column regression. Right-click the blank area of the taskbar, select "toolbar"> "new toolbar", and enter the following path in the box below:

% USERPROFILE % \ appdata \ roaming \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ quick launch (please replace the fullwidth \ with the halfwidth status \)

Click "select folder" and you will be able to see an additional quick launch on the right side of the taskbar. To make it more like the original Quick Start column, you also need to make a small adjustment, first, remove and lock the taskbar, right-click quick launch, remove the check box before "show text" and "show title", and drag it to the leftmost of the taskbar. Now, the previous Quick Start bar is back.

Here, I suggest you try to use the lock function of the Super taskbar to lock your frequently used programs to the taskbar without starting them from other places, unless you have a lot of things to put in the Quick Start bar.

Enable resource manager to open the computer rather than the library folder by default

Click the resource manager icon on the taskbar. In Windows 7, the folder in the library is opened by default instead of the previous "Computer (my computer)", which must make many people feel inconvenient, although the "computer" can be fixed to the Resource Manager jumplist list, it is always awkward.

Want to restore the original method? In fact, it is very simple. You only need to make a slight modification to the shortcut pointed to by the resource manager. Close all resource management windows, hold down shift, right-click the resource manager icon on the taskbar, and switch to the shortcut tab, add a space and a comma to the end of the default path in the target box, and click OK.

Now try again. Click the resource manager icon on the taskbar and you will see that the computer directory is opened directly.

Run as another user

This function is available in XP and is removed from Vista. Now it returns to the system again. Press shift and right-click the program you want to run, and you will see the option "Run as another user. Maybe you will ask, what should I do if I have an administrator? Think about this situation. A computer is used by many people. You need to do something temporarily, but the current logon user has limited permissions. You do not know the Administrator account and password, however, if you have your own Logon account and have sufficient permissions, this option can help you save the trouble of logging out of the current user, such as some computers in the company.

Shift + left button

In the super taskbar of Windows 7, click a running program icon to select the program. What if I want to run the same program again? It is also easy to press shift and then click the program icon to open the second program window. In addition, you can also directly click the middle mouse button to achieve the same effect.

Mouse gesture

The mouse gestures in Windows 7 are mostly prepared to support Touch devices, because right-click the touch device and the operation is not done yet. Therefore, operations such as right-clicking the taskbar icon to open jumplist will drive users crazy if they change to a touch device. However, you can rest assured that Microsoft has not forgotten this important operation. If you use a touch device or the right mouse button fails, you don't have to worry about it. Another convenient operation method is to use the mouse gesture: move to the icon of the Target Program, click the left button, and gently move up (If your taskbar prefers to be placed above the screen, the corresponding track is to slide down) so that the mouse can escape the icon range, then you will see jumplist following your mouse appear on the screen, with a gradient effect.

Remove Automatic Volume Adjustment

When Windows 7 detects that the computer is in communication activities such as phone calls, it will automatically reduce the volume of other devices. If you do not like this, you can disable it. Right-click the horn icon in the notification area of the taskbar, select the sound, and go to the communication label. Change the option to "do not perform any operation" to disable it.

Open the CMD command window in the current path

This is not a new technique, but it may not be available to anyone who seldom uses the CMD window. In fact, it is also an additional option of Shift + right-click, but it is limited to folders or hard disk partitions. This operation can be performed either in a blank space in the folder window or in a selected folder.

Minimize Windows Live Messenger to the system notification area

If you use WLM in Windows 7, you will find that the WLM icon always exists in the taskbar. If you want to keep it in the notification area on the right as before, run in Windows Vista compatibility mode. In this way, when the WLM main window is minimized, it will not appear in the taskbar below, which can save you an icon position.

As a matter of fact, it has been tested that some other common programs that support minimizing to the tray area under XP/Vista can adopt this method, so that it will not appear in the taskbar after being minimized.

So far, some useful techniques have been collected here. These operations do not involve sensitive content such as the registry. However, since Windows 7 has not yet released the official version, the above skills may change in the future, just as PC safeguard disappears in RC, but these skills are at least valid for the time being, hope to help you. Of course, if you have other more interesting discoveries, do not be stingy, leave your findings for more users to share.
