Hover tip feature for Word 2010

In a Word 2010 document, when a user makes edits such as displaying tracked changes, inserting footnotes, inserting endnotes, and so on in a Word document, the user can set whether the prompt is displayed when the mouse pointer hovers over the edit position. If you want to display, you can enable the "Show document ToolTips on hover" feature, as described in the following procedure:

Step 1th, open the Word 2010 document window, and click the file → options button, as shown in Figure 2012030101.

Step 2nd, open the Word Options dialog box and switch to the Show tab. In the page display options area, select the show document tooltip on hover check box, and click OK, as shown in Figure 2012030102.

Tip: Enabling or stopping the "show document ToolTips on hover" feature does not affect the ScreenTip feature, which is not affected by ToolTip information in locations such as the Ribbon.
