How can I access my lan from the Internet? I am using Radmin remote control software. I also use the Linksys router. I have dynamic IP addresses that keep changing. I have tested No-IP software, DNS2go dynamic domain name resolution software, and VNC (Virtual Network Computing ). But none of them work. Please help.

The solution to your problem is very simple. We will provide you with this solution immediately. Running services provided by No-IP, DNS2go, and other programs will allow you to map your dynamic IP addresses to the host names provided by these services for free. For example, you can choose to retain the "tony.no-ip.org", which is then mapped to the current IP address that your ISP provides to you.

I have just used this service and found it very stable and reliable. The best part of this service is no charge, and you can customize the level, your PC or server in the LAN can provide the ISP's central server with the latest information to reflect your dynamic IP address.

Once this is done, you need to set a simple port forwarding rule on your ADSL Router and access the services in your LAN. This port is 4899 (default port) When Radmin is used ). If you have not changed the port used by your service, you need to forward the port.

Recently, each vro supports NAT/NAPT (Network Address Translation/network address port translation ). NAT/NAPT will actually use the public interface of your router to forward requests to its protected internal network. The request here is to select the router's external interface (usually one), the port number to be forwarded, the internal IP address and the internal port number that you want to forward all external requests.

In fact, it makes sense to break down the rules for completing the preceding tasks. The procedure is as follows:

If someone enters my WAN Interface on port 4899 and forwards it to an internal machine with the IP address 192.168.0.10 and the port number 4899, 192.168.0.10 is the internal server you want to connect, port 4899 is the port on which the Radmin service runs on the server.
