How can I enter the user name and password when I access the SharePoint site and open the document in office?

Many people have asked this question. When we access the SharePoint site, since we have already entered the user name and password, why do we use office to open the above document, again, we are still prompted to enter the user name and password again?

Cause: the IIS virtual site uses basic authentication. This authentication method is passed in plain text, so it is not automatically transferred from IE to office.

Solution: Change the authentication method of the IIS Virtual Site from basic authentication to Integration authentication.
