How do I disable the Win7 disc burning feature?

1. Win+r running gpedit.msc;

2. Open the local group Policy in turn-> user Configuration (User Configuration)-> Administrative Templates (Administrative Templates)-> Windows Compone Nts

3. Select Windows Explorer;

4. Locate the Remove CD burning features (remove CD burning feature) and double-click in the right panel;

5. Select Enable (open);

6. Restart effective.

In addition to using Group Policy modifications above, you can modify it by using the registry:

1. Win+r running regedit;

2. Find the following key value;

Hkey_current_usersoftwaremicrosoftwindowscurrentversionpoliciesexplorer;

3. In the right panel right-new-DWORD32-named nocdburning;

4. Double-click to modify the key value of 1;

5. Restart effective.
