How does Godaddy add an independent IP address to the host account? After purchasing an independent IP address, Godaddy will not automatically add it to your host account. You need to set it yourself.

1. Log on to the Godaddy account and go to the hosting account list.

2. Click the domain name of the account whose independent IP address is to be added to the host list:

3. Apply dedicated IP address on the right. Click Add IP to host account.

After the independent IP address is added, the dedicated IP address will display your independent IP address.

If your domain name uses Godaddy's NS, it will take effect. If your domain name is resolved by yourself, you need to update and resolve it to your new IP address.
