How does MySQL workbench connect to the MySQL server on Amazon EC2?

 

I recently used Ubuntu Linux on Amazon EC2. To facilitate MySQL management, a graphical MYSQL client can always improve efficiency. However, it is important to note how to connect ECs instances.

 

Connection methond: note that you must select"Standard TCP/IP over SSH"

SSH hostname: the name of the EC2 machine. You can use the public DNS name directly.

SSH Username: the username used to log on to the ECS instance. It is not the username used to log on to MySQL. It depends on your system. If it is Ubuntu, it is "ubuntu" by default ".

SSH password: This is not required.

SSH key file: select the. pem file you obtained when creating this EC2 machine.

MySQL hostname"127.0.0.1"

MySQL server port: 3306

Username: MySQL Login User "root"

Password: MySQL Login Password

Default Schema: Optional.
