One, the use of the tool bar

After the geometry artboard starts, the left side is the default toolbar, from top to bottom: Select Tools, point tools, circle tools, line drawing tools, polygon tools, text label tools, markup tools, information tools, custom tools. To use the tool, just use the left mouse button to select the appropriate tool.

When you draw a shape in the workspace, graphics have the system default name, if you do not see, you can use the Text tool to click on the graph, then click, the name disappears; If you want to modify the name, double-click the name, and then enter the new name in the window that appears. In addition, there are some hidden tools in the toolbar, the selection tool has "pan, rotate, zoom", the line tool has "draw lines, Ray, draw a straight line", the way to bring up the hidden tool is left-click the corresponding button, press and hold the left hand, on the right side of other tools, and then move the mouse arrow to the tool you want to select, loosen the left button.

In many drawing software has provided the tool of color filling, but in the geometry Sketchpad does not provide this tool in the toolbar, actually this is its characteristic, because the graph in the geometry artboard has to change, fills the color the part to also change with it.

First, to select a graphic to add a color to, if the graphic is a circle, select inner circle within the menu "construct"; if the shape is a polygon, select "Inner Polygon" in the menu "construct"; If the graph is an arc, select the "fan inside or bow inside" of the menu "construct". To illustrate this point, to add color to the polygon, be sure to select the vertices of the polygon, select the edge is not used.

The point tool mentioned above, you can draw two kinds of points, one is the free point, the point where you can move around without any restrictions, and a point that you can move within a certain range, for example, after you draw a circle and draw a point on the circle, the point can only move on the circle, and you cannot leave the circle.

Transformations are important commands in a geometric artboard, the technique here is very many, want to transform, must have the basis, so before implementing the transformation, must first "mark", can mark the center, can mark a vector, can mark the comparison and so on, selected to transform the graph, according to the mark, carries on the corresponding transformation. Many other software transformations do not meet the mathematical requirements, sometimes we need to copy a graphic, and require the copied graphics will change with the original graphics, which is definitely not CTRL + C and CTRL + V to achieve.
