How JavaScript obtains binary data responses

The datatype type of Ajax is no blob or arraybuffer, so what if we visit an API that returns binary content such as a picture or a file?

Someone opened a bug and triggered a long discussion, but eventually the bug became Cantfix, which meant that Ajax didn't support it, but the guy who sparked the discussion eventually wrote a plugin.

After a variety of inquiries, summed up there are three ways:

1. With that plugin.
2. With XMLHttpRequest
3. TRANSPORT with Ajax

I finally chose to use XMLHttpRequest because the other two would bring too much extra code.
