How Photoshop makes Crystal drops

1, open Photoshop, execute the "file"-"new" command, create a new 400x400 pixel file, and named "Water droplets."

2. Set the foreground color to #0580ac, and set the background color to white. Select the Gradient tool in the toolbox, from the bottom of the screen to a linear gradient from the foreground to the background color.

3, click on the layer palette under the "Create a new Layer" button, a new layer, and named "Water droplets." Select the elliptical marquee tool to draw a positive circle selection. Set the foreground color to #0a93bd and press Alt+del to fill the selection.

4, click on the layer under the "Create a new Layer" button, a new layer, and named "Light department." Set the foreground color to # 91d5e2. Select the brush tool with a brush diameter of 60 pixels and a hardness of 0%, which is applied to the lower left part of the droplet.

5. Select the elliptical Marquee tool again and select subtract from selection mode in the options bar to draw a selection. Click the right mouse button on the selection and select Feather on the pop-up shortcut menu, with a feather radius of 3 pixels.

6, click on the layer under the "Create a new Layer" button, a new layer, and named "High Light." Then fill the selection with white and set the opacity to 77%.

7, click on the layer under the "Create a new Layer" button, a new layer, and named "High Light 2". Select the brush tool again with a brush diameter of about 8 pixels and a hardness of 0%.

8. Select the elliptical marquee tool to draw the selection, click on the right mouse button in the selection, select "Feather" in the pop-up shortcut menu, feather the radius of 12 pixels. Click on the Create New Layer button below the Layer palette, and name "reflective" to fill the selection with white.

9. Create a new layer again and name it "Light and Shadow". and move it to the top of the background layer. Use the elliptical marquee tool to draw a selection as shown in the following illustration. Then fill the selection with white.

10, double click the "shadow" layer of the thumbnail, bring up the Layer Style dialog box, select the gradient overlay, three color labels are: #a6c2cd, #ffffff, #07709f.

11, in the Layer palette, in addition to the background layer of all the layers selected, and then press the Ctrl+e key to merge layers, the new layer named "Water droplets." Select the Move tool in the toolbox, hold down the ALT key, and drag the mouse. This can copy the "droplet" layer, get a new "water droplets." Then press the Ctrl+t key to enter the free transform mode, adjust the layer size and position. Repeat the above steps to finally get the effect.
