How the TL-ER6520G can dial multiple ADSL lines at the same time

Background

Vrouters with multiple WAN ports can overlay bandwidth and back up links. In real life, multi-WAN port routers are widely used. However, due to the limited number of ports, in actual life, only dual-WAN ports and three WAN ports can be used for communication. The TL-ER6520G divides multiple virtual sub-interfaces on one physical port, and can perform dial-up operations to multiple cats at the same time to implement multi-WAN port router functions on one physical port.

Topology

As shown in the following figure, the WAN1 port of the TL-ER6520G is connected to the 24 port of the front-end switch, and the 1-10 port of the switch is connected to 10 modem, which can be set to enable the 10 lines simultaneously at the WAN1 port.

 

Settings in the TL-ER6520G

1. Reset the vro1 and manually configure parameters such as the IP address, Gateway, and subnet mask of PC1 to enter the vro management interface. In basic settings-port settings, set the Link type of port 1 to trunk.

 

 

2. Add the VLAN10-20 in basic settings-VLAN settings, and set the port to 1.

 

3. Add section WAN1 in basic settings-section settings.

 

4. Add the eth interface wanstmeth10 in the WAN1 segment, and the vlan ID is 10.

 

5. Create a new pppoe interface wanw.pppoe10 in the WAN1 segment, set the LINK interface to wanstmeth10, enter the user name and password provided by the broadband carrier, and click save.

 

6. Create the eth Port wanstmeth11 --- wanstmeth19 in sequence, and the vlan ID is 11-19 in sequence. Create pppoe interface wan1_pppoe11-wan1_pppoe19, link interface is wan1_eth11-wan1_eth19, enter the user name and password provided by the carrier respectively, click save.

 

7. Add 10 NAPT entries in the transport control-NAT settings. The Source addresses are all LAN address segments, and the outbound interfaces are sequential wanw.pppoe10 --- wanw.pppoe19.

 

VSwitch settings

1. Go to the TL-SL2428 management interface and set the port type of port 24 to TRUNK in VLAN-port settings.

 

2. Add vlan10 in the VLAN-VLAN configuration, Port is 1, 24; vlan11, Port is 2, 24; vlan12, Port is 3, 24; vlan13, Port is 4, 24; vlan14: Ports 5 and 24; vlan15: ports 6 and 24; vlan16: ports 7 and 24; vlan17: ports 8 and 24; vlan18: ports 9 and 24; vlan19, with ports 10 and 24.

 

Now, you can dial the number at the WAN1 port of the vro.
