A: This is a very simple question. After using a switch to set up a local area network, all computers within the LAN will be on the same IP address segment, such as the IP address between 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.254. To share a printer, you need these computers in the same workgroup, and do not open a network firewall. Then install the printer driver on one computer and set the printer to be shared on the network device.

If you want to print a file on a different computer, you need to enter \\192.168.0.X in the Address box and return (x is the computer IP for the printer you are installing). At this point, you can show that the printer has been shared, right click on the icon to select the connection, so that the sharing of success, The printer icon that is already shared can be seen in the Network neighborhood at this time. If you do not have access to the computer where the printer is installed, open the Guest user on the computer where the printer is installed.
