1. Obtain the desktop. ini file:The file exists in the folder. This is the folder configuration file. By default, this file does not exist.

Method 1: Change the folder attributes (such as the folder icon) to generate a desktop. ini file in the folder.

Change icon: in this case, right-click a folder and choose Properties> Custom> change icon> select a folder icon> OK> Application> OK

Method 2: You can also create your own (provided that the original folder does not exist, otherwise you will not be able to create the desktop. ini file, you can only create desktop (2). ini)

 

This is not necessarily visible because it is a system configuration file, which is hidden by default and needs to be displayed. Note that

2. Set the configuration file

Open the desktop. ini file in Notepad Mode

Add the following line in the IconResource line:InfoTip = remarks

Save and close the configuration file

3. Refresh the folder status

This step is also very important. It takes a long time to see the effect without executing this step.

This is why many people think this is useless.

To change the icon, right-click the folder and choose Properties> Custom> change icon> select a folder icon> OK> Application> OK.
