In fact, there is only one active connection for all windows connections, that is, there is a priority,

 

Modify the priority in:
Network Connection ---- Resource Manager ---- advanced menu --- Advanced Settings
Here, we can change the priority of all network connections to the center.

 

Another interesting question is how to check which connection is used when all connections are connected,
For example, if a wireless connection is first connected, a wired network cable is inserted when thunder is used for download.

The network connection should be switched immediately according to the priority, but sometimes the system does not respond in time, it will ask which connection is used.

 

There are many methods,
Netstat-An: The local address will be displayed immediately. Check the IP address to see it.
Pathping
IP address. The first IP address of the local Nic is displayed.
There are many other methods ,,,,
Of course, after finding the local address, you need to use ipconfig
/All: view the NIC corresponding to the address ,,,

Another priority is when the wireless network is connected to multiple APs. The priority problem also exists here ,,,
You can modify it in the wireless connection.

 

The expansion problem arises. What if I want to use two connections at the same time ????
When a server is connected to a dual gateway for routing,

The priority of the interface mentioned above is determined by the route. The interface is only the egress of the route.

Therefore, it is useless to check the connection priority, or pathping can reflect the route selection situation.

 

In addition, the dual gateway can also bridge together for load balancing, and so on ,,,,,,,,,

Note: Here 172.16.x.x and 192.168.1.x are related to your LAN environment. You can view them at ipconfig/all on the command line.

 

Lan Wired connection (CIDR Block 172.16.x.x, which does not provide Internet access service) and wi-fi connection (CIDR Block 192.168.1.x, which can be connected to the Internet ).

 

If you connect both the wired network card and the wireless network card, because the wired network card has a high priority, only the wired LAN can work normally. the wireless network card can be connected but cannot transmit data. To change this situation, you need to modify the local route settings of the notebook: all requests to access 172.16.x.x are handled by a wired network adapter, and requests to access other networks are processed by the wireless network adapter. The procedure is as follows:

 

1. Set the wireless network card as the default route Gateway: Wireless Network Connection Properties-Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)-properties-advanced, manually enter the wireless route gateway, here I am 192.168.1.1, the number of hops is 1, which is the highest priority. In this step, if both wired and wireless connections exist, all data is processed by the wireless Nic.

 

2. Set the exclusion information and send the URL Connection Request for section 172.16.x.x to the priority NIC: Enter the following command on the command line:
Route-P add 172.16.0.0
Mask 255.255.0.0
172.16.6.1
172.16.0.0 is the local lan cidr block, and 172.16.6.1 is the default gateway for the subnet CIDR Block of the Local Machine. Set this parameter based on the actual situation.

 

After the above settings, All accesses to the primary network segment are handled by the wired network adapter, and the access to the Internet can be handled by the wireless network adapter, so there will be no conflict.

First, your machine must have two NICs connected to the two switches respectively,

 

Internet address: 192.168.1.8, subnet mask: 255.255.255.0, Gateway: 192.168.1.1

 

Intranet address: 172.23.1.8, subnet mask: 255.255.255.0, Gateway: 172.23.1.1

 

If you set the IP address and gateway of each network card according to the normal setting method, you will see it when you use Route print in cmd.

0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 172.23.1.1 172.23.1.8

 

That is, there are two gateways pointing to 0.0.0.0, so there will be a route conflict and both networks will not be accessible.

 

How can I access two networks at the same time? The route command is used.

 

Step 1: Route Delete 0.0.0.0 "delete all 0.0.0.0 routes"

 

Step 2: Route add 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 192.168.1.1
"Add 0.0.0.0 network route", which means you can access the Internet.

 

Step 3: Route add 172.23.0.0 mask route 0.0.0 172.23.1.1
"Add 172.23.0.0 network route", note that the mask is 255.0.0.0, rather than 255.255.255.0, so that multiple internal network segments are available.

 

In this case, you can access the two networks at the same time. However, if you encounter a problem, the route added using the above command will be automatically lost after the system restarts. How can you save the existing route table?

 

Route add-P adds a static route. After restart, the route will not be lost. Note: remove the gateway that is connected to the NIC of the enterprise intranet in the TCP/IP settings before use.

Some organizations separate the Intranet from the Internet. The method is as follows:
1. Set the gateway for the NIC connected to the Internet to 10.0.0.1. The default gateway is enabled
-- Note: This is the network interface card corresponding to the Internet. The network interface card is configured in the TCP/IP attribute according to the IP Address Allocation of the Internet of your organization.

2. Configure the nic ip address of the intranet connection unit and set the gateway to null (no gateway is available). After the gateway is enabled, the Intranet cannot be routed through the gateway.

 

3. Go to CMD and run: route-P add 192.0.0.0 mask route 0.0.0 192.168.0.1 metric 1

 

-- Note: Set the routing gateway of the 192 * IP package to 192.168.0.1, and the-p parameter indicates that the route table is permanently written. We recommend that you do not add this parameter first, and write it after practice.

 

4. OK! Enable two NICs at the same time. The two gateways can work at the same time, and the two subnets can be accessed at the same time. You do not need to reset them after Shutdown and restart!
