How to change (Increase) Resolution in Linux

This article describes how to add resolutions for Linux that are not configured by default during installation.
During Linux installation, You need to select the resolution you want. However, I accidentally missed my primary resolution of 1280*1024. After the installation is complete, my resolution will not appear in the setting options that can be selected. The steps to add the resolution are as follows:

1. sudo dpkg-reconfigure-phigh xserver-Xorg
This will enable the same setup as during installation, so that you can add the resolution to be supported.
Exit after setting OK


2. CTRL + ALT + backspace restart x

At first, I manually edited the configuration file Xorg. conf and then restarted. The above two steps can be used to solve the problem. Hope to help people who encounter the same problem.
