How to change the color of each file displayed by ls In ubuntu

Source: Internet

In ubuntu, if the directory's other has the write permission, ls will display it in green background blue. If this directory is small, it will be fine. Like me, just migrated from windows to Ubuntu, in addition, it is installed in wubi mode. Ubuntu will mount other original windows disks. At this time, CD used to see that all the directory files are basically 777 permissions, and then they are green and cannot be seen clearly, so I tried to change the color. Google, refer from here.

1. Cd ~

2. dircolors-P>. dircolors

(The original file is. dir_colors, but the. dircolors file is actually found in the. bashrc file. If you do not want to change the. bashrc file, take the file name.

3. VI. dircolors

(Find other_writable. I am in line 81. You can set the value to indicate which value represents the meaning of Shenma. I changed it to 01; 37; 42, it indicates that the green background is in bold and white.

4. Source. bashrc
