How to clear search records of files on a computer

 

The procedure is as follows:

1. Press the keyboard combination key, click Win + R to open the operation, enter regedit, and a registry editor will pop up;

2. On the open registry page, click HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ WordWheelQuery;

3. Go to the list on the right and delete all values except the default value. The effect is shown in the following figure.

4. When you click the search box of the file, the record is cleared.

Of course, if you don't want to use this operation, we can use some security software, such as installing a computer manager, Baidu computer manager, or 360 computer manager, to clear these junk and privacy records.
