How to use Rational Rose 2003 to draw a combined aggregation relationship (solid diamond)
2008-04-28 10:48
Aggregation relationships include basic aggregations (hollow diamonds) and combined aggregation relationships (solid diamond)
Some are called aggregate aggregation (hollow diamonds) and combined composition (solid diamond)
Aggregation is a relatively loose relationship, and the code and composition generated in Rose are the same.
Rose 2003 does not provide a "combined relationship" graphic (solid diamond)
1. You can draw a aggregation (hollow) Relationship first (Drop-down menu bar Tools--->aggregation),
2. Then right click on the relationship, open specification->role B Detail,
3. You will find three selections (by value, by Reference, Unspecified), and when you choose by value, the diamond becomes solid.
