The ldif file written in Chinese Windows system uses gb2312 encoding by default, but LDAP stipulates that the ldif file needs to use the UTF-8 format, so the encoding conversion is required when importing the ldif file. The procedure is as follows:

1. Download The iconv.exe Program

2. Run the iconv.exe-F gb2312-T UTF-8 test1.ldif> test. ldif command on the Windows command line.

Command explanation:

-F: source file encoding format

-T: encoding format of the target file

Test1.ldif is the source file

> Test. ldif: output to test. ldif after conversion

3. Import the ldif file: ldapadd-X-d "cn = manager, Dc = sunwin, Dc = com"-w-F test. ldif

Command explanation:

-X for simple Authentication
-D is used to bind the server's DN
-W: the password for binding the DN
-F: The file that uses the ldif file to add entries
