How to delete/unload a SQL Server 2012 DB instance

This article describes how to remove/unload a SQL Server 2012 DB instance. The procedure is as follows:

Go to the Server/PC Control Panel, open programs > Programs and Features, select Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (64-bit), and right-click on "Uninstall/change" as shown in:

Select the Uninstall feature:

Start the uninstall program, default, Next:

Select the name of the DB instance you want to delete/unload, as shown in this experiment, to uninstall the SCOM instance:

Select what you want to uninstall, and select all of the experiments, such as:

Delete rule check, default execution;

By default, click the "Delete" button to perform the delete operation:
