The building blocks in Word 2010 are editable, and users can edit word 2010 's own building blocks and user-defined building blocks as they actually need to, as described in the following procedure:
In step 1th, open the Word 2010 document window and switch to the Insert Ribbon. Click the Document Parts button in the text group and select the Build Block manager option in the Open menu, as shown in Figure 2009122601.

Step 2nd, open the Build Block Manager dialog box, and in the building block list, select the name of the building block whose properties you want to edit, and click the Edit Properties button, as shown in Figure 2009122602.

Step 3rd, in the Open Modify Building Block dialog box, modify the properties of the building block's name, library, description, and so on, depending on your actual needs. Click the OK button when you have finished modifying it, as shown in Figure 2009122603.

Step 4th, open the dialog box that asks if you want to redefine the building block, and click Yes to confirm that the modified building block property will be saved, as shown in Figure 2009122604.
