How to extract the SQL statement of a string from multiple locations:

Note: field A = 'f: \ photo \ Winter Leaves.jpg'

Requirement: Segment each character segment. [field A cannot be of the TEXT type; otherwise, an error is returned.]

Solution:

--- Truncate the first \ left string of string

Select left (A, charindex ('/', A)-1)

Output result: F:
