How to fix ESX password loss

The main idea is to enter COS in single-user mode, and then change the root password.

Step 2: Enable/restart the ESX host

Step 2: Go to the GRUB menu, press the upper and lower keys on the keyboard, place the cursor on "VMware ESX 2nd", and press "a" to enter
On the page, add a space and 1 character after "mem = 602 M quiet. Then press enter to guide COS in single-user mode and enter single-user mode. COS will directly go to the root user's # prompt

Step 2: Change the root password and restart.
Enter the passwd command to modify the password of the root user.
