Open the Word document that you want to add MP3 background music to, click Header Footer on the View menu, go to the footer editing area, click Objects on the Insert menu, select Windows Media Player, click OK, and then insert the WMP object.

Right-click the WMP object, select Properties, click Customize in the Properties dialog box, and then click the three-point button that appears. Pop-up dialog box, in the "file name or URL" to enter the corresponding MP3 path or browse the local MP3 file playback, in the "Select Mode" select "Invisible", "Play Count" set to "999", click the "OK" button. Exit design mode and exit the footer editing area. This way, each time you open the document, you can hear MP3 music.
