How to format NTFS disks with commands on your Mac

When using a computer, a lot of user friends will encounter disk full, or virus intrusion situation, in the face of this situation we have to format the disk. So how do you format an NTFS disk with commands on your Mac?

1. First download the NTFS for MAC.

After downloading, you can read the NTFS disk.

2. Insert the NTFS disk that you want to format.

Launch command line: Applications > Tools > Terminal;

Enter Diskutil for help.

• • Click the Delete tab at the top of the window;
• • Select the Windows NT file system from the list of pop-up dialog boxes;
• • Enter a new label (extraneous parameters for notification purposes);
• • Click the Delete button to format the partition.
