When making two-sided printed files, we often use the "symmetric margin" feature to make the wider margins of the odd and even pages on the inside to facilitate binding. But this simple feature in Word does not appear in WPS Office 2005 (which is true in previous versions), does it not function in WPS Office 2005? The answer is no, and it doesn't take a particularly complicated step to implement this functionality.
First, click on the menu "file → page settings" To open the Page Setup dialog box, in the Margins tab, set the margins (see below, the top and bottom margins are 25mm, the left and right margins are 20mm)
In gutter position, select left, and in gutter width, enter 5. This setting, the left margin of the page to increase to 25mm, and then click on the "Layout" tab, "header and footer" under the "different odd and even page" set to the selected state (see figure below)
Although this is where the headers and footers are set, the result of the setting is applied to the entire document.
Click "OK" back to the document you edited, see the effect? The wide edge of an odd page is on the left, and the wide edge of even pages is on the right, exactly the same as the "symmetric margins" in Word! (This technique is tested in the WPS Office 2005 Professional Edition and Personal Edition)
