How to install cacti in FreeBSD

The following configuration environment is: FreeBSD8.1 Nginx0.8.54 PHP5.2.15 Mysql5.1.54-log

1. configure the php website environment first

Generally used lamp (linux, apache, php, mysql), here we use FreeBSD system, web is Nginx, platform build tutorial please refer to: http://blog.haohtml.com/index.php/archives/1133

II. install sockets extension

Be sure to select the sockets extension version to be consistent with the php version you are using, here I am using php5.2.15 version, so select php52-sockets.

 
 
  1. #cd /usr/ports/net/php52-sockets  
  2.  
  3. #make install clean  
  4.  

The above Command will generate a sockets. so extension, and the system will automatically

 
 
  1. extension=sockets.so  
  2.  

Add the information to the end of the/usr/local/etc/php/extensions. ini file.

If you have installed the pdo_mysql extension, skip this step.

  1. # Cd/usr/ports/database/php5-pdo_mysql
  2.  
  3. # Make install clean
