Steps/Methods

First, make sure that the modem supports the system with its own fax components (and some also support third-party fax applications).

Make sure modem (tm-ip5600) is properly installed on the computer, the telephone line is normal and connected with modem.

Install the XP System Fax Service: Control Panel-> Add or Remove Programs-> Add/Remove Windows components, enter the Windows XP Component Wizard.

Check the Fax service and follow the prompts to finalize the Add Wizard.

The actual need to replicate the full version of XP under the Fxsocm.dll and Fxsocm.inf.
