How to install SharePoint 2010 on 64-bit Windows 7

Problem:

This problem is encountered when you install SharePoint Server2010 in a win7 (x64) Environment:

This product requires Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 to be installed ...

The workaround is as follows:

Open the unpacked installation file to open the decompression file path \files\setup\config.xml and add <setting id= under the <Configuration> node Allowwindowsclientinstall "Value= True"/>

Save double-click Setup.exe installation to function properly.

Note: This method can be tested to meet the installation of SharePoint Server 2010 under Win7 (x64), but cannot meet Win7 (x64) Installation of SharePoint Server 2013.
