How to install mysql without the initial password in liunx

Source: Internet
Author: User

#/Etc/init. d/mysql stop
# Cd/usr/local/mysql
# Mysqld_safe -- user = mysql -- skip-grant-tables -- skip-networking & // After executing this command, you can enter mysql without a password.

Then, modify the root password.

# Mysql-u root mysql
Mysql> UPPATE user SET password = PASSWORD ('newpassword') where USER = 'root ';
Mysql> flush privileges;
Mysql> quit;
#/Etc/init. d/mysql restart
# Mysql-u root-p

In fact, an initial password is automatically generated after mysql 5.6 is installed. The prompt after installing the mysql-server package Command tells us where the initial password is stored.
