How to install Power Commands 14.04 in Ubuntu 1.6

Power Commands is a program created by the atareao team. It allows you to conveniently close, restart, stop, Hibernate, log out, and lock the system through Unity Dash. The latest available version is Power Commands 1.6, which has recently been released.

Installation is very easy because PPA is available. Open the terminal and run the following command:

Sudo add-apt-repository ppa: atareao/atareao
Sudo apt-get update
Sudo apt-get install power-commands

Run the following command to uninstall power-commands:

Sudo apt-get remove power-commands

Remove PPA:

Sudo apt-get install ppa-purge
Sudo ppa-purge ppa: atareao/atareao
