Q: Why can't I find the function of thumbnail display in the picture folder?

A: Windows 2000/xp all have thumbnails, but because some graphics software has been mistakenly deleted, the thumbnail function will suddenly disappear. You can click "Start → run" and enter "regsvr32 c:windowssystemthumbvw.dll" and return. This assumes that your Windows is installed in the C:windows directory.

Repair a damaged icon

If there is a problem with your system icon, you can resolve the problem by deleting the ShellIconCache file in the c:windows or c:winnt directory. The file is cached for the icon, and after it is deleted, the icon is rebuilt.
